About us

kyco started back in April 2011 as a hobby project. We wanted to start something that would keep us productive and contribute to the general plubic.

Our vision was to simply learn some programming languages and then develop custom software for very specific tasks.

We started our journey with little to no coding experience and somehow we ended up creating program snippets and plugins which we hope people find useful.

Mission

We strive to create code that's simple and useful while being innovative and powerful.

Languages

We build web solutions with Node.js, JavaScript and PHP. On the desktop side we code with C++ and Python.

Tools

We use Git for version control. Git is awesome because of free tools such as github and bitbucket.

We use Sublime and vim as our preferred text editors.

We make use of beanstalk and ownCloud.

Our code is primarily open source and will remain that way for the time being.
